A recent study shows that 22% of our population 15 years and over has a hearing loss. If you suspect that you or a loved one has a hearing loss a hearing assessment will determine the type of impairment and whether or not any medical intervention or device will benefit. Assessments ranging from screenings through to complex audiological assessments for children and adults are performed at About Bass Coast Hearing.
Braden will discuss the results of your assessment and recommend the best hearing solutions for your individual rehabilitation programme, reviewing your progress every year.
“The only man who behaves sensibly is my tailor; he takes my measurements anew every time he sees me, while all the rest go on with their old measurements and expect me to fit them” George Bernard Shaw
Most hearing impaired people can benefit from hearing aids. Just as there are different types and degrees of hearing loss, there are different hearing instruments with a wide range of functions and features to address a variety of individual needs. The degree and type of the hearing loss, manual dexterity abilities, cost factors, and cosmetic concerns are some of the factors that will determine the style of the hearing aid the individual will use.
About Bass Coast Hearing provides a full range of fully digital hearing aids from In-The-Ear styles to Behind-The-Ear. The hearing aids are programmed according to the client’s hearing levels. The computer software is highly flexible and Braden can make adjustments via the computer to meet hearing needs.
Braden is also a full qualified electronics technician with many years experience and can provide maintenance, service and repairs. About Bass Coast Hearing also supplies Custom Earplugs, Accessories & Batteries.
